Belk Holiday 2010 tv campaign

This was a lovely campaign that featured the signature "blue petals" that helped brand the retailer and give visual interest to the spots. The challenges were many; determining the amount of petals needed per scene, giving a sense of weight and turbulence to the petals, and not getting too sappy with the "magic" effects. The lens flares and bokeh effects were added to enhance the warmth and tone of the spots and were accomplished in post with Andrew Kramer's fantastic plugin "Optical Flares".
