Fine Art Photography-Enchanted Lake

My purpose for these photographs is to take you to a different time and place. Where light and shadows play a valuable role in the portrayal of the stories in my images. Each of these images have a story to be told if you emmerse yourself into these pieces. Specifically created to evoke dream-like narratives with the use of retro beauty.
In order to adequately describe my photography, I must first tell a little about myself, so that you can see more of what I see. I started out interested in photography at the age of 10, but not getting serious about it until I was 12. I took my family’s point-and-shoot everywhere, creating thousands of (often blurry) pictures.
In 2011, I bought myself a fancy Nikon DSLR camera. Having a professional camera really opened the door to my future career, solidifying my desire to do this with my life.
Nothing is as satisfactory as when you see a scene in your head, and it turns into reality.
I am currently attending Ivy Tech for an Associates Degree in Visual Communications with a concentration in photography. After graduation in the Spring of 2017, I hope to grow my humble little photography business into something more steady. By means of the many valuable skills I’ve learned in Ivy Tech’s Photography Program.
