This publication addresses organ donation, looking at death as not only the end of life, but as the beginning of new life for many people. The folding format emphasises the fact that one organ donor can save eight lives, when the booklet folds out, the letters that form John's name are split in four directions, becoming part of the names of eight different people. The letters represent the parts of John Doe divided between the eight people, each name accompanied by a personal story of someone whose life was changed by their organ transplant.
