Walkways
Short-listed project for RSA Student Design Awards 2012: The Good Journey.
Walkways is a smart phone application designed to get London commuters walking to work.

As a solution to RSA's Good Journey brief, I chose to improve commuters journey through London by showing just how easy it is to walk across London. Millions of commuters use London's buses and tubes to travel to work on a daily basis, but very few people walk to work. You might assume that public transport is the quickest method for getting to your destination in Central London, but in fact many short journeys on the London Underground could be quicker and easier on foot.

Rather than standing in queues, pushing through crowds and finding alternative routes because your tube line is down, Walkways can customise a route perfect for you.

I created a website to show all the features of the app which can be viewed here.
