These illustrations were commissioned by Hair Stylist Guido Palau, to illustrate his designs for the mannequin heads at the Schiaparelli & Prada, Impossible Conversations, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York.
And later on, 10 designs were turned into postcards under the advice of Anna Wintour.
