The project started as a photographic study over symmetry and proportions. I soon realized that as much as I tried to work on 2D and with no depth of field, my shots were always far from the straight lines I was looking for. Even when my eyes seemed to be pretty sure about the symmetry of the elements in the picture, those lines didn’t exactly match the ruler.
The photographs highlight the contrast between two or more elements, cutting the frame in half with one degree of imperfection: that oneDegree of disparity makes the human perception so interesting and unique. For almost two years I’ve collected these kind of frames and I can’t get enough!
