This project was a collaborative installation made with Philip Bailey and Kristi Minchin. The piece was designed for Brainchild festival on the pretext of making a fun area to sit, chat and generally make merry. Between us we found a common ground in all of our work which was strong pattern and colour play. Taking inspiration from polly pocket, 80s Miami and Barbie's Dreamhouse we aimed to create something contradictory to the lush green backdrop and nostalgically playful. Everyone loves feeling like a big kid from time to time.

We used a mixture of MDF and OSB for the construction of the piece and a total of 5 colours to draw all elements together. The pillars and backboards (8ft, 6ft and 4ft) were fastened on to scaffolding to keep everything secure.
