The walls in our new office space were bare and we needed to find a way to decorate while keeping the clean aesthetic. In the entry we started by hand painting (my lettering days came in handy) our logo and the letter C in several typefaces. All the lettering was executed a shade or two darker than the wall color. The intent was to create a wall treatment that doesn't over power the space while communicating how type is an integral part of what we do. This treatment allows for other art to be hung, without detracting, as we finish up the space.
