Okay, try and remember back in 1997 when the fastest Web surfers were using 24K dial-up modems. This company had a really great invention—a CD-ROM that could be randomly distributed with encrypted content that would be turned on or off with an online key. So let's say someone like Madonna wanted to let all of her fans see her videos online back in 1997. They would pop one of these CD's in their drive and go to her site and behold there was the video running seamlessly between the two technologies. She could even have new content run at a later date and turn off access to the previous materials. Verrrrrry cool for the 90's.

Chicago-based special effects photographer Erich Schrempp gets the credit for taking my concept of a key-holed CD-ROM and creating the image from my sketches.
