When I was a kid I loved to visit San Francisco and walk around downtown, looking at all the tall buildings. I’m not sure what it was back then, outside of the curiosity and wonder of seeing something new and profound for the first time. Combining these existential strolls with my passion for photography was a real epiphany for me, something that started in art school as an exercise but which now brings me a lot of joy and clarity in my life. San Francisco might be one of the great walking cities in the world, with lots of really cool structures, so I feel fortunate to be here. All these photos were taken in the city between 2006-2011.
