Art Arcana is an online gallery offering artwork of contemporary Polish artists for sale. All items have been meticulously selected for merit and quality, and comprise a collection of a singular character and feel. Perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise that art of such a high order inspired us to reach new heights in web design.
 
When designing the logo, we chose to limit our color palette: using only black and white enabled us to find a modern and elegant expression of the collection’s bold character. To balance the otherwise minimalistic style of the project, we experimented with typography in the gallery name, acknowledging the artistic spirit of the brand as well as some of the current trends.

Additionally, we prepared a comprehensive and state-of-the-art corporate identity system that embodies both the spartan finesse and the stylish vigor of the new Art Arcana logo. By focusing on every detail, we were able to ensure consistent style and message in a wide array of materials.

Our job was also to curate the look and feel of the gallery’s website. Main menu design conforms to diagonal lines, similar to those found in the logo. The color palette has been enriched slightly but visibly by a streak of energetic yellow, bringing more light to the project and acting as a navigational aid.
 
Creating the website with RWD considerations in mind ensured art created by some of the finest Polish artists is presented with corresponding allure on all devices.
