Started out by putting together some ideas for a fun way to display boring statistics, trying to stay within the FOUR look.
The word 'Ninja' really stuck with us, and we decided that maybe we should come up with an actual character... so started doing some doodling.
Well character turned into characters... then we had a whole bunch of different dudes to play with, trying to give the reel somewhat of a storyline...
This was the original vampire... but it was a little too cheeky so we went with the crazy hair chick instead.
Started coming up with some more ways to display stats, using our newly crafted characters.
Started doing some very basic character rigging, don't really know too much about it, so was definitely a learning exercise.
Put together a simple animation to test out the rig, seems to be working pretty well! Animators survival kit helped SO much.
The household shoppers with kids demo grew by 89%!!
We also had some little popups made as handouts instead of business cards at the end of the presentation. Thanks Rebekah Fraser for sorting these out =).
