My graduation project is a campaign with the name "Muthaqafoun" - "Cultured" in english, with the slogan "زى زمان" or in english "Like the old times" It's a campaign sponsored by a famous bookstore in Egypt "Diwan bookstores" - not in reality of course. So, the campaign is basically addressing the youth of Egypt to start reading and learning by themselves. The campaign's objective is to show the Egyptian youth that being cultured is not just about reading boring books and wearing big glasses, but in fact, being cultured is a whole new lifestyle. Culture is art, music, poetry, movies, etc...
This campaign started by announcing about a carnival that will include music concerts, workshops in different subjects, talks and lectures from "TedX" and of course discounts on a wide range of books. The campaign's main focus is on the 1920s when Cairo was one of the most beautiful capital in the world, and this is why all designs are made with the art deco style which started to appear at the same time. The application is simply made with the same style as the whole campaign, the objective of this application is to inform the audience about the upcoming events, workshops, concerts or offers made during the campaign. Also, users can buy any books from the app and keep them is their own bookshelf, read reviews or even join a public conversation about the book with all the other users who joined the same book community.
