Red Eye Espresso is a friendly little neighbourhood coffee shop located on McCaul Street, just south of OCAD and the AGO in Toronto. It’s a hidden gem with great coffee, communal seating and sketchbooks for kids of all ages. The posters reflect the simplicity found in every aspect of Red Eye - from its minimalist decor and menu to the reasons why coffee drinkers visit. We also wanted the execution to feel handcrafted, just as each beverage served there is. The artwork was created using actual cups from the shop, which were sent to the artist in Paris, France to work with. Thanks to Google Translate, working with a non-English speaking Parisian went off without a hitch.
