This is a little sticker design project I've been working on. The idea behind it is that even though the subject matters may already be hackneyed or tired, I feel that with the recent string of events like the Paris attacks, Syria war, Orlando shootings, Brussels bombings and even the latest Dallas police ambush and other horrific events, we are constantly reminded that we still live in a world full of prejudice, bigotry, and hate. So this is a little something I made called Advocastickers. They are little 2x2 inch designs to stick on planners, notebooks, walls, laptops, phone cases, and other things to add a little color to the world and to voice out equality and progressive change. It's for people who feel marginalized, for people discriminated every now and then for being a little different, for people wanting to be accepted but ostracized instead, for people struggling for rights they should have but are refused of, for people being simply who they are but are treated as something else, for people repressed because all kinds of barriers, for people who used to bully, oppress, and hate, but wants to or has changed, and for people who agree, who want, and who is determined for progressive change so that people will conduct themselves better and treat each other better so that we can sleep a little better at night. Because better is what we want and want to be.
