Fealings 

 

A matriarchy of fairy-like women raise thier strange children in the woods.  

The film overall took three months to make. A month to plan out and write, and two months to animate. 

 

The characters were all animated traditionally, as well as the backgrounds which were all hand painted. Once completed, the characters were colored digitally, and everything was built in After Effects using the 3D camera tool to create and illusion of dimension in the highly stylized two dimensional space. Finally filters were added to the short to create more atmosphere.
