Sheila G. Ticen
Contemporary Realist Painter

My paintings are about the quiet beauty of the here and now - the things that are real and true for me.

The simplest of things and the most mundane places can be seen as beautiful when one takes the time to really look.

In my figurative work I want to reflect both the unique characteristics of a specific person and something of what we all share, this vulnerable and glorious condition of being human.
