A birthday is around the corner and I felt the need to design something special for the birthday girl who turns 4! (Where have those years gone?!) 

Firstly, a quick and fun sketch of a little girl admiring her birthday balloon. Soon transforming into a digital piece with the help of Adobe Illustrator. Finally a tweak of background colour (I thought orange might've been too bold on a card - maybe?), and I decoupaged main features with a sprinkle of glitter; because every little girl loves glitter!
