Photojournalist for Hire
A photographer friend of mine arranged for me to buy her old DSLR at a significant discount when I was in school. It was an immeasurable favour for a struggling J-school student. Since, I've had the opportunity, not only to shoot at a wide range of events, but to also have the ability to practice a variety of techniques used to prepare clean and professional looking photography to accompany my written work.
In the last year, I've travelled across the country with my camera. Together, we've climbed mountains, crossed deserts, attended festivals and functions. I've travelled with photographers and artists and have often had the chance to get feedback, tutorials, and criticism from friends and professionals and most importantly to improve my technique.
I'm enthusiastic about my work, both written and photographed and I marry the two wherever possible. Thank you for taking the time to check out my portfolio.
