This was made in SketchUp, a model for the acrylic case of an Arduino project I was making. Here, I needed to make precise fitting parts as this same model was going to be sent to the laser cutter and then assembled.
I also made a SketchUp extension for exporting the 2D faces to a SVG file, as that is the format the laser cutter accepts. There was another plugin around that made something similar, but mine takes into account the thickness of the faces to decide which one should be laser-cut and which one is just the border of the acrylic.
I also needed to create precise models for my electronic parts, all in SketchUp and with the help of some calipers:
