Ginny & Harris Wedding

Before jumping to the project, I want to make a notice that this project is redesigning the wedding invitation as a gift to my friend - Ginny. She got married about 7 months ago, but I still decided to take her and her husband as the the clients in my personal project because I really like their love story. Actually, on her wedding day, I also gave her a exclusive designed wedding signature board as a gift. I also want to note that I do not own the photos of the wedding days that are used in this project. All of these photos were provided by the bride.
Ginny and Harris like to watch cartoons and animated movies. In spite of dating at romantic places, they prefer to go to the cinemas. The couple even marked a milestone in their relationship by a VVIP card of a movie theatre. Unlike other couples who often buy flowers or jewelries as gifts, Ginny and Harris often give each other stuffs related to the animated characters they like (such as Minion or Baymax).

Their love is also like an animated movie. It is not too romantic or sweet. It also does not contain dramas, ups and downs. That love is natural, delicate and simple. It cannot make people envy, but feel comfortable. That love simplifies things and make life become easier.

Ginny loves green. She addicts to green stuffs. She is even called “Chuối” (which means “Banana”) because of her obsession to green (I am mentioning the colour of the banana trees). That is why she always dreams of a green wedding.  She is even willing to wear a green wedding dress if she finds one.

So, the idea for Ginny & Harris’ wedding is a premiere of an animated movie in which the main characters are the bride and the gloom. The wedding is the premiere or the start of a new movie – a new life of the couple.
A happy ending of a movie is the happy start of another story: "And they live happily ever after".
Actually in their real wedding day, I gave them an exclusive designed signature board with the names of the bride and gloom on it. The board was made of wood and was painted with glitter silver paint. Guests who come to the wedding would sign on it with a green permanent markers.
