DIGI-LOG only needs a persons name, it then uses this to search the internet picking up facts and figures along the way about them. It then creates a print off on receipt paper documenting each persons “virtual life”.
The aim when creating this project, was to give people a real world item that shows a lighthearted view on there own “virtual identity”. We life in a generation that feel as comfortable in a virtual online world as the real world. in 2011 it was predicted that 8 out of every 10 people use the internet, world wide. By connecting to these virtual environment such as facebook people seems to lose there social inhibitions and share details about there personal lives without thinking where they are going and who owns them.
