This piece is an immersive interactive dance performance, describing the creators’ impending removal of the “ovaries”, the organ that symbolizes femininity, and the resulting panic and fear towards the lost of femininity. The piece expounds on the creator’s own story, using bubbles as the performance medium. The transparent and fulfilling shape of bubbles is a metaphor for the female fountain of life, the ovaries, creating a type pursuit and fulfillment between the body and image. 《Pobble》aims to use sensory techniques to detect the dancer’s body, allowing the dancer’s shape to be immersed in a crowded bubbly state, using sensory technology to detect the dancer’s stature, through the creation, duplication and blending between the dancer and the bubbly image, to describe the inner layer of desire to become a complete female’s struggle between the idealistic ego and the real world. Sensory technology can utilize the instant reaction the dancer has to the music and visuals to produce an instant effect. The dancer’s limbs can move according to the changes in the interactive images and display the immediate interactivity, and create an interactive performance that shows full immersion with the images.
