Antylogia: Publishing series

My bachelor diploma project's objective was to create a coherent publishing series consisting of Polish classical literature. The idea was to form a layout and series characteristics that will complement old texts, at the same time being clear and easy to read for a modern reader. While designing these books I thought mainly about middle/high school students who according to curriculum have to read and analyze them. Since the market is full of cheap, but aesthetically unpleasing series that try to clumsily imitate the historical atmosphere of these texts by adding tacky illustrations, I decided to take a different approach. I wanted to create a space for students to analyzie and work with the texts, to be able to truly use the book. I considered the probable costs of production (as cheap as possible) and came up with a layout with wide outside margins for free of constraint user's commentary and a set of stickers for marking chosen parts of the text.
