I was given 3 bird related sayings to illustrate in any style I wanted - one rule - I wasn't allowed to draw any birds! I came up the idea of trying to tie the sayings together by using the same woman in each illustration but at different stages of her life. I used pencil on tea stained paper and coloured the images digitally.
