We were recently briefed to create some motion graphics using 4 base colours - blue, yellow, purple and green - on a white background. They were used during a large event held at Coventry's Ricoh Arena.

 

We created an effect where balls of paint fall and splash at the bottom of the screen, releasing bubbles and tentacles of colour.
Another idea was having coloured rain drops soaking into the white screen as if it was paper.

Since then, we've developed these two ideas using dark backgrounds which give them a whole different look and feel.
