Chicha is a name used in Latin America to refer to an artisanal corn drink. In Peru is use to refer to anything that belongs to the culture develop in the capital, Lima, since massive groups of migrants move to there by the earlier 1980s. The second generation of those migrants couldn't find anything that identifies them as a culture because they were not from their parent's lands neither they feel capital citizens.The migrants created their own music which is the fusion of the music of their parents and the music that was popular at that time in the capital. The new genre is called Chicha and became popular among the migrant is a fast fashion. The need of finding cheap ways to promote the concerts gave the origin of handmade colorful printed posters.
