ABOUT
A luxury villa on a unique site in Bodrum coast, perched on a steep land overlooking the Aegean Sea panorama. In this villa, Quark Studio has considered highlighting two aspects of interior designing above the others: First, was to blend the landscape into the interiors by using similar materials which exist in the landscape. The second was to incorporate a skylight to be able to control and use the natural light as a designing element.
Each floor of the villa is facing a different panorama. The villa is embedded inside the cliff allowing it to blend more into its environment. The ground floor, where the living room area is planned, has large windows, providing a seamless visual transition between indoor and outdoor and a maximum perspective for the available panorama. The upper floor level, includes spacious bedrooms, again with large glasses making the various view ports available for the house dwellers.
The Villa’s interior has been designed as a sequence of volumes through stone, wood, and paint. Book-matched marble floors, locally provided natural stone covered walls and custom-designed furniture are accentuating the connections across various spaces.
