Second Place Winner. The Battelle Grant Project was a initiative
for CCAD students to use design in way that could help the other 90%.
I created a tool that will extract carbon rods from inside batteries.
Made out of simple conduit and a few machined parts, this tool will reduce the
dangers exposed to women and children in Bangladesh who currently
only use primitive hammers to break open the batteries.
