There exists a form of power and intelligence that represents the high point of human potential. It is the source of the greatest achievements and discoveries in history. It is an intelligence that is not taught in our schools nor analyzed by professors, but almost all of us, at some point, have had glimpses of it in our own experience. It often comes to us in a period of tension—facing a deadline, the urgent need to solve a problem, a crisis of sorts. Or it can come as the result of constant work on a project. In any event, pressed by circumstances, we feel unusually energized and focused. Our minds become completely absorbed in the task before us.

We might normally experience life in a passive mode, constantly reacting to this or that incident, but for these days or weeks we feel like we can determine events and make things happen.

This power, is called Mastery.
~ Robert Greene
This is a short visual synopsis of the journey towards mastery
1. Discover your calling.
The first step is finding something you love to do. For most of us, this involves returning to our origins,
looking at the path we are on and connecting with our inclinations.
"Rediscover your inner child's fascination" ~ Robert Greene
 2. Start Learning.
Enter the jungle. A good strategy for this is finding a mentor. Life is short, mentors have a wealth of relevant information, they are invaluable in streamlining your learning. Don't expect that you'll  start and immediately become a superstar. Starting out, you'll probably be lousy, sub-standard and very
uncomfortable.
3. Endure the Pain Period.
It, won't be easy and it probably won't happen in one day, but have faith in the process itself.

4. Change
Transform yourself through Practice. Internalize the details and widen your vision.
5. Make it your own.
Connect to your environment, play to your strengths. Combine all your unique forms of knowledge and skills, to create a new masterpiece, that is distinctly yours. Become a new master.
6. Forget everything.
Keep expanding your horizons and revert to a feeling of inferiority. Learn eagerly and with deep humility.
