E-Commerce website and Brand identity for SolSeal
Liven has just created a new corporate identity and e-commerce website for Solseal, a leading UK company who provide sealant products for the construction industry.
The new identity we created represents a clean and modern graphical route. The look and feel plays on the industrial/construction nature of the products. A powerful symbolic shape was created to add strength to the offering to market with typography to compliment this approach.
With the new identity created, we turned our attention to the website. The client wanted a fully functioning e-commerce website which allowed for payment to be taken online as well as the ability to undertake via the Contents Management System (CMS) stock management, distribution, product management and the set up and monitoring of individual accounts. Our process started with listening to the requirements of the client and then wireframing the entire site. With the wireframes signed off, we then commenced the design. Our approach focused on creating a clean and uncluttered website, which was intuitive and straight forward to use. Our use of verbal and visual language was designed to reinforce Solseal Sealant Construction credentials.
With the design signed off, we then moved to build. The site was built on an e-commerce platform trusted by some of the world’s leading brands, SSL certification was installed and a number of bespoke modules were integrated to meet the needs and expectations of the client. The site has provided the client with the perfect foundations to not only sell their products but to expand as needed. Over the coming months we will be creating a range of on and off line marketing material to support the launch.
