Course: Visual Communication 1 This was an introductory course in visual communication taught by me as a Graduate Teaching Instructor for one section of the sophmore class. This course is designed by Professor Karen Hayes Thumann who taught this same course for second section of the class. The course focuses on non verbal communication. Students are introduced to design research, theory and methods. It even explores the importance design plays in shaping meaning and interpretation through basic visual interaction. Read Less

Grid Series: 

Goal: Create a series of drawings that communicate a visual operation such as folding, breaking, shifting, cutting, etc. Its about process and communication. The visual alteration can either be an additive or subtractive process or both. There were few things that needed to be considered:
