5 Dreams
An exploration of the perpetually shifting clarity and ambiguity of memories of our dreams. I wrote descriptions of every dream I had over a 2-week period upon waking, and then attempted to reconstruct the most vivid mental picture from each in a way that allowed information to be constantly revealed and concealed as the viewer interacted with the image. The bookshelf-reminiscent presentation invites the viewer to peruse and investigate a world they inherently cannot understand. Left-hand images are lit from the front, and right-hand from the back, to give an idea of the way they images changed depending on how and where they were held.
