The refugee issue greatly affects the political relations as we know them. It awakens us to questioning them and allows us to reflect on who these people are, how they live and how they want to live.
They are children and adults, men and women, all going through a long and difficult path in search of the right to live and work in a country free of wars.
These are people who feel hunger, cold, anxiety and eagerness to get to England. All this constant pressure added to the feeling of  always being a "foreigner" no matter where they are, makes talking of home an arduous but necessary task.

The aim of the project was to create an ever-changing house that would adapt itself whenever the user finds it necessary. The articulated roof  makes it possible to create multiple environments without difficulty so that both, children and adults, could easily redesign the space.
The manual (seen below) gives the refugees a DIY guide to the building of the "house", the ideia is to decodify the technical knowledge behind the house's construction.
