Stew Magazine- How To Draw… A Dragon!

 

I was asked by the lovely people at Stew Magazine to be involved in their latest issue and come up with something for the ‘How To Draw’ segment. I’d just come off a creature feature project (more to come on this soon), so I guess I had monsters on the mind and came up with this happy little dragon. It was really fun to come up with the concept and then break the process down into steps. I’m always conscious of shapes and composition, and it was a good exercise to deconstruct it all.
