Quartet Manufacturing was founded in 1945 and quickly became the largest provider of whiteboard, bulletin and chalkboard products. In 1985 Quartet® introduced their 1st electronic copy board and continued to rise by providing high-quality, innovative products and expanding its dry-erase and whiteboard selections for business and education. Design Objective
Update the laser pointer packaging into the new Quartet design language.
Challenges
Packaging needed to be trilingual with a long list of product features needing to be communicated to the consumer.
Solutions
Simplify communication points by creating a system of icons to communicate to the consumer various features and benefits with minimal tranlsations needed. For pointers with higher trade-up a large violator communicates the main feature with text and imagery.
