Documenting College of Engineering, Pune
In 2005 the College of Engineering Pune selected the firm of Kimaya for documenting the Main Building for the purpose of Conservation. Here is a sample of the voluminous work done by the firm 'Kimaya'.
Dr Shreeniwas Sathe the noted historian conducted a detailed inquiry into the various stages through which the work was designed by Architect James Trubshawe and the Executive Engineer C E Howard in the high Victorian Period. Aspiring Conservation Architect Sonali Roy was assisted by trainees Prajakta Kalamkar, Manasi Pardeshi and Darshan Lakhotia who did the measured drawings and inventory of defects. A detailed report on the possible future use of the building, its estimates and some working drawings for the proposed work were completed. A complete project report for inviting funding for the project was prepared. Hareesh Haridasan prepared these presentation sheets during his training with Kimaya.
