The Environmental Responsibility Effect

Individual actions to be environmentally responsible come from varying perspectives that this book will explore. This interactive book enlightens readers about major environmental problems and then prompts them to make decisions based on their perspective. The goal is to enlighten readers of the possible future they could be looking at and if their perspective changes after learning about major problems negatively affecting the environment.
Directly on the cover, the reader is prompted with a question on the effect of actions or inaction based on perception. The icons that run down the cover hint at the topics covered in the book.
An introduction and guide ready the reader for further interaction with the tab system.
The reader will take into account the information on the topic of the current spread to assist their decision of "should I or shouldn't I ...", and slide the corresponding tab.
With the chosen tab fully revealed, an image reflects a likely outcome of such a decision.
The process is repeated, as the opened tabs overlap. At the end, the tabs should have formed a complete scene composed of the decisions the reader made. After making decisions testing their perspective on their responsibility to the well-being of the environment, it identifying characteristics help the reader identify if their perspective has changed or not. They can act on this self-awareness to change for the better if they choose to.
