Petite Ocean is an online boutique creating handmade clothing and accessories for babies, toddlers, and pets. The brand name refers to the sea inspired fabric colours and patterns common throughout the various product lines. Brand objectives were to create a visual identity that was inviting, fresh, and spoke to a higher-end value and quality. The logo was designed to be symbolic of a beach towel—a representation of the love we have for our children and pets as it wraps around you like a big warm hug. The symbol is made up of colours representing sand, sea, corals, and plants and is designed to work without the word mark so that it can be easily identified and offer a flexible graphic system for retail applications such as clothing labels, shopping bags, and gift cards.
