This video shows a canoe session at Trezzano sul Naviglio, from the preparation to the effective canoeing in the river. Using the GoPro camera, that combines high-performance video capture, with versatility and very compact dimension, I was able to do a multiangular video whitout compromising the action. This allowed me to show the action from great point of view, like the paddle, the bottom, the front and the end of the canoe.
To make the final editing I used the footage from 14 different cameras, obtaining 14 different point of view of the same action. One camera was on the actor head (n°1, to obtain a POV shoot). Six cameras were on the canoe: n°2 filming towards the actor, n°3 filming the front, n°4 filming the front from the bottom of the canoe, n°5 filming the back of the canoe.
N°8 under the canoe to film the bottom of the river, n°9 on the side of the canoe.
One camera was on the paddle (n°6) and one was on the left hand (n°7) both showing the rowing movement.
Last five cameras was used to shoot 5 wide angle: n°10 was place inside the gim, n°11 on the pier, and 3 cameras was shooting the river flow (n°12 from the left shore, n°13 under the bridge and n°14 from the right shore).
