I worked with the Guardian's design and marketing team to conceptualise and illustrate this years University Guide.
Based on the tagline 'Find Your Place' the campaign follows the journey of three students searching for and ultimately finding their place within higher education and the working world.
The three main characters can all be seen waiting at train stations. Paraphernalia at the stations like the abstracted poster in the first image allude to the final print poster which was run in the printed editions of the newspaper.
This is followed by a series of carriages which are split open to reveal popular courses inside; Art, English, Science and Maths. The carriages were implemented as animated rolling thrashers for web.
Following that is the print poster which shows the three characters arrival at their utopian vision of higher education.
The campaign was accompanied by social media assets which helped tell the story and were implemented across social media feeds.Share
