BRINGING A WHIMSICAL WORLD TO LIFE  /  2010
“Children at play represent creativity in its purest form, without barriers or censorship. Creating a story for children demands the same freedom”, says Brazilian photographer/journalist Evandro Teixeira in the book’s back cover.

No boundaries, no commitment to reality as we, adults, know it, allowing completely freedom of imagination. Those were my starting points to bring the author’s fantastic words to life. Each page is rich in details, inviting the children for a deep dive into the chameleon’s colorful little worlds, inciting their imagination and allowing them to create stories of their own.

I did the concepting, art direction, retouching and design while Rafael Polon did these beautiful illustrations.
