Great White North Whisky
Canadian Packaging for a (fictional) Canadian Brand
Canadian Packaging for a (fictional) Canadian Brand
The aim of this project was to create packaging for a Canadian product that would visually represent the country. Growing up on the prairies, I decided to go for a look that called on the visuals of cold cold winters, acres of woodlands, and an elegant but tough animal that I saw on a near daily basis, the elk. Add in a clearly Canadian colour palette and name and you've got it - Great White North Maple Whisky.
This package was designed to be functional after the product's consumption - the die-cut sides are actually from a pull-out lantern, which can be used with a provided LED "tealight."
Main typeface is Woodshop by Nick Slater.
