Makramè
Coffee/Side Tables
Makramè is the old embroidery art craft from arabian origins. This couple of coffee tables is made from a simple metallic sheet, folded and decorated with a fretwork.
The sizes of the two tables are slightly different and therefore permit to overlap them in order to save room but, when needed, they can also be put side by side.
When they are overlapped the colours differences accentuate the decoration drawing. This doesn’t occupy all the table’s surface, but only a little area by creating, through oppositions and returning, a sort of dialog between the two coffee tables when they are drawn near.
They are made from a simple aluminium or iron sheet, are perforated with a laser or water cut and are powder coated. They have a 45 cm squared base and are 24 cm high.
