Bovine Fashion has always attracted and amazed me. I find all the other adorned inhabitants in our country fascinating. Their simplicity in nature is enhanced and beautified by the addition of brightly coloured fabrics, garlands, pretty pompoms. How can one forget their gorgeous ornaments from Balloons, bells to beautiful cowrie shell chains and much more.
Another element that caught my eye is ancient Kalamakari paintings. I was inspired by them and wanted to revive the old traditional art by re-creating them in a contemporary style and giving them an edge through bright digital prints. Another feature that completed the entire look was by adding a fringe of pompoms, bells and cowries that are a huge part of these adorned beauties.
