Cropped Digital Photographs
This display showcases my skills in digital photography on a Canon Digital Rebel. My techniques in photography are diverse and innovative. One such technique I taught myself is, when I cannot use my tripod for a shot, I obscure half of a flash shot with my fingers. I also take extreme closeups of prepared objects before the camera to create a composition of abstract shapes. I take these photos in dark lighting at a very low shutter speed and during the 10-second or so capture, I randomly and swiftly move the objects around in the frame.
One theme in my work is the beauty of nature and wild or domesticated animals. I have a passion for animals and for understanding nature's wonderful gifts. I own two parakeets and they are often my camera's subjects. The following are some cropped photos in my collection.
