IDEM and COPCA, organisms within the Generalitat de Catalunya (regional government body), merge to create a Support Agency for Catalonian Businesses. It needs a powerful concept, concise yet possible to register, to identify its values of proactivity, approachability, efficiency, flexibility, etc. The solution is a brand formed by a logotype of characters that can also be read as a word, as well as an acronym derived from the original organisms that formed the agency. The appearance of the number “1” as “I” enables the brand to be registered and at the same time provides a subliminal symbolism linked to excellence. The visual language seeks to bestow the identity with technical and specialised connotations.
