Extended Exposure Photography of an interactive lights and sound dance performance
At the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences Ispent a lot of time working with new technology including interactive light andmedia. The idea being, cameras located around the stage continuously captureinformation, which feeds into an application (MAX MSP) and changes the musicand lights based on the movements of the performers. I was asked to create stunning photographs of the performances and decided that an extended exposure with some creative filters would bring the overall theme to life with still photographs.
