AfterTaste 2012
Temporary Environment, Parsons the New School for Design
The reception for AfterTaste is a temporary environment conceived and constructed by Parsons first year MFA Interior Designers. Prompted to explore inside/outside, this environment celebrated boundaries and thresholds of the reception area, while using recycled materials.

I was on the table design team, conceiving the concept behind the the buffet table. This table, the place where people gather most, ought to pass through the main boundary in the space: the glass wall. The near symmetry of the table continually played on the senses as to what is a reflection and what elements are shared on either side of the border.
