This conceptual design uses wearable sensors placed on the actors faces, wrists and ankles.

The facial sensors are silicone patches that are placed on the upper and lower eyelids, canthus and around the mouths. The sensors pick up muscle movements around the face to determine what face the actor may be pulling.
The wrist and ankle sensors, are bands that are wrapped round. These sensors pick up body movements, determining how the actor is moving upon the stage.

The sensors kit, facial silicone pads are placed in a small container.
The feedback taken from the sensors are analysed, in real-time, through a software named Affectiva. This software enables particular movements and faces to be determined as a certain emotions. Once the emotion is decided, the lighting system edits to the presettings suited.

This design is inspired by experiemental theatre, and the introduction of technology. The design aims to intensify emotions the audience can experience, whilst also ensure the actors are able to portray that emotion successful through their acting.
